Hospice Saves Time and Money

When a loved one has a terminal diagnosis, the last thing you want to worry about is money. View the infographic to see how hospice can help put your mind at ease.

Patients have several options when it comes to paying for hospice care. If the patient meets hospice eligibility requirements and has Medicare, the government will pay as much as 100% of the cost. In these cases, there is no deductible and no co-payment.

Medical supplies and prescriptions related to pain and comfort management are also covered and will be delivered to your home or assisted living facility.

Individuals with private insurance should speak with their insurance company about their options. Medicaid also provides coverage, but it varies by state.

Additionally, visits from hospice staff can save time spent going out to doctor's appointments and late-night visits to the ER.
