Gift of a Day wins Best in Show with Dog-Loving Patient

There's a reason they say "all dogs go to heaven" - because the joy they bring our patients is a true blessing.

Recently, Crossroads Hospice & Palliative Care created a special dog-themed Gift of a Day event for 93-year-old Ruth Ledwith.

Ruth wanted her own private dog show, so she could pet the dogs, spend time with them, and choose winners in categories like "Cuddle Bug," "Show Stealer," and "Best Behaved."

Bella, Duke, and Thea were happy to collect their prizes and bring some joy to Ruth's Day.

We also surprised her with a paw print blanket and cuddly plush dog that she promptly named Junior.
