Hospice volunteers make a huge difference in someone’s life by simply being present. They provide support and companionship to patients and families in their homes and nursing homes. Volunteers provide caregivers a short break, and spend time with patients playing cards, dominos, or reading. Volunteers do not administer medications or perform any nursing duties. This is a meaningful and life-changing opportunity for everyone including teens.
