Improvisational Communication: A Workshop for Healthcare Providers3/13/2019 5:00:00 PM
Improvisation is creating or performing something spontaneously. Good communication is the cornerstone of building trust. Combining the two allows for a deeper understanding between participants and fosters better relationships. Improvisational communication is an honest approach to creating authentic relationships between healthcare providers and those whom they serve. This workshop is designed for the participant to take what they learn during the workshop and use it in their clinical practice to improve spontaneous interactions with patients and their families to create deeper and authentic relationships.
Presented by Timothy Ihrig, M.D. , M.A
Chief Medical Officer of Crossroads Hospice and Palliative Care and Founder and CEO of Ihrig MD & Associates . He is internationally recognized for combining clinical and administrative experience in creating health and social care systems that reliably deliver high-value outcomes in a financially sustainable manner for seriously-ill populations. He is a palliative care physician who cares for the most vulnerable and ill individuals. He attained a degree in medicine from the University of Nebraska College of Medicine and a Master’s degree in Molecular Biology from the University of Nebraska at Omaha.
