This phrase is well-known in our culture and there is research that proves the physical, mental, emotional and social benefits of laughter. Studies continue to demonstrate that laughter is, indeed, the best medicine!
The “Caring More” Award is presented to outstanding social workers who go above and beyond to improve lives through their work with patients and in the community. The award includes a $500 prize to the non-profit of the recipient’s choice, and a breakfast in their honor with invited colleagues, family, friends, and a distinguished panel of judges during National Social Work Month in March.

I wasn’t alive during the Victory days that ended World War II, but I heard the stories from my Grandparents and certainly have been moved by the old photographs. What the greatest generation gave to us through their bravery, hard work and determination shaped the world for generations to come — and perhaps for all time.
